BANK OF NEW ZEALAND. NEW BONO TERM SHARES. Under last session’s legislation authorising the tormation of a Long Term Mortgage Branch of the. Bank of New Zealand and the issue of 1,406,250 long tbrra mortgage shares of £1 each, the board of directors of the bank has resolved to issue half that number of shares. ■ , _ , The new issue of 703,125 shares is offered, two-thirds (468,750) to shareholders, and onethird (234,375) to the Government. Under the heading of “Increase of the Bank’s Capital,” a circular, signed by the general manager of bank, Mr H, Buckleton, has been sent out-from the head office to shareholders in which the effect of the legislation is fully explained.
