Sir,-- -In an articlo in this morning’s issue, Under the above title, it was reported that at a recent Wesleyan Methodist conference in London a recommendation was adopted (by a majority of 14 in a total vote of 360) that “women shoul 1 be made eligible for the ministry of the Wesleyan Church as far ns possible pn the same terms rs men.” It is ouito true that this motion was carried, but it ought to bo known that the motion was rescinded later on by tho same session The matter is of real importance, for had the motion been ultimately adopted the door would have been closed lo any hope of reunion between Wcsleyans and the Church of England.—l am. etc.. 11.
