KIDNAPPERS SHOT
EPISODE IN BURMA. CALCUTTA, September 11. An American driller nam-ed Biggin, employed by the Burma Oil Company, and living in a bungalow on the Chauk fields with his wife and child, shot two of three Indians who attacked the a* night- The intention of the intruders was to kidnap his wife and child and to hold them .'or ransom. Riggins servant, informed him of the plot. The two Indians died and Riggin was arrested.
