HARRIERS.
'ST. KILDA CLUB. Tho St. Kilda Club held its second sports meeting at Forbury Park. The results are as follows: Hop, Step and Jump.—S. Gibbs 1. C. Tidey 2, R. Mercer 3. High Jump.—S. Gibbs 1, L. Henderson 2, C. Tidey 3. 440 Yards.—W. Foley 1, A. Foley 2, J. Dunn 3. One Mile.—A. Foley 1, J. Dunn 2, R. jftcrcor 3. 0 CARGILL ROAD METHODIST. The Cargill Road Methodist Harriers hold the final run of the season from tho schoolroom, Wesley street. A. Barron and J. Prosser wore responsible for an excellent trail, which led round past Carisbrook, up Eglinton road, past Montecillo, and along the Queen's drive to City road. The trail then led along into Taieri road, and into Roslvn along Kaikorai Valley road, up .Stone street, and down Elgin road to Caversham, and from Cavcrsham into Macandrew road to tho school. ANGLICAN CLUB’S SPORTS. Tho Anglican Harriers held their final sports meeting at Forbury Park. Tho first event was the half-mile novice race for the Mouat Cup, which was contested by a field of seven. The limit man, Bonzoni. led for most of the journey, and at half-way tho runners were closely bunched, with the scratch man, Moodie, coming up nicely. Benzoni still maintained his position, however, and was just beaten on the tape by Connell, who ran a well-judged mce. Moodie was a close third. Time, 2min 21sec. The mile handicap for trophies presented by Messrs Breen and Matthews was full of interest. Matthews himself (150yds) was a difficult propost ion for the back markers, as he so* off at a solid pace. A quarter of a mile from home Connell took the lead, with Gray at his heel*. and Gray finally won by about 10 yards from Connell, with Rolfo Dcr) third, about the same distance back.
