BOROUGH OF AKAROA.
ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS. (Pee United Pbess Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, September 26. The fiftieth anniversary of the constitution of the borough of Akaroa was celebrated yesterday. The Hon. G. J. Anderson unveiled a memorial in the old French burial ground to the French, German, and British early settlers.
