SMALLER VESSELS
THE NEW ZEALAND TRADE. SHAW-SAVILL COMPANY’S DECISON. (Free* Association—By Telegraph—Copyright.) LONDON, September 23. Because of the recent reduction in freight rates, the Shaw, Savill Company finds it necessary to construct m«re economical Vessels. The company states that it has cancelled the construction of a 20,000-ton motor liner at Tyneside, and is substituting three motor cargo .hips. The company will probably replace the similar Clydeside order by three other motor freighters, enabling the company ultimately to place six 11,000-tonners in the New Zealand trade.—Sydney Sun Cable.
