(Received Sept. 23, at 9.30 p.m.) A hurricane on Monday caused a heavy loss of life and propery m Villa Encarnacion, a town and part on the River Parana, 180 miles south-east of the capital. The official reports place the dead at 200, but other information is that the death list is already 500, and is growing hourly. More than 400 buildings were razed and a section of the town seven streets long by four streets wide is a mass of ruins. —A. and N.Z. Cable.
