HOCKEY.
OTAGO LADIES’ ASSOCIATION. The weekly meeting of the Executive of the Otago Ladies’ Hockey Association was held on Tuesday evening, when there were present: —Mrs G A. Nelson (in the chair), Misses Campbell, White, Brockie and Hill. A letter was received from the Otago Hockey Association asking that all matches he postponed on June 19, the day of the Indian Army match.—lt was decided to postpone the matches. A letter was received from the Southland Ladies’ Hockey Association stating that a team could be sent to Dunedin for Juno 19, provided all exposes were paid.— It was decided that the association be asked to reconsider the matter, the match being deemed the inter-provincial one for the season. The University Club asked for transfers for Miss K. Ha-stie from A II to A I team and Miss E. Trounce from A I to A II team. —Granted. A letter was received from the Ngapara I,allies’ Hockey Club asking to be affiliated to the Otago Association. —Accepted. Seven-a-side Tournament.—Eleven A grade teams and 18 B grade teams were entered for this tournament to be held on Juno 3.
The following is the draw for Saturday’s matches: A Grade. —Otago v. Momona, at Oval No. 1 (Mr R S. Wallace); University 11 v. Technical Old Girls (vacation) ; University I v. Otago Girls’ High School (vacation); Training College a bye. B. Grade.—First S' tion: Kaikorai v. Otago 'I, at Oval No, j (Mr H. White); Training College I v. Taieri (vacation): Triancle I v Technical Old Girls I, at Oval No, 2 (Mr J. Gray). Second section: Momona v. Technical Old Girls IT. at Domain (Mr C. Hayward) : Otago IT v. Kaikorai H, at Ova! No. 3. at 1.30 p.m. (Mr D. Miller); Triangle HI v. Triangle 11. at Jubilee No. 1 (Mr C. Henty); Training College II a bpro.
