(Per United Press Association.) AUCKLAND. May 7. The Auckland District A.O.F. has purchased a 64ft frontage to Wellesley street for £12,750, which is equal to £2OO a oot. ’ ’ OPOTTKI, May 7. After an all-night hunt in the bush the CKotiki police captured a madman at dawn. They had lo convey him on a pack-horse six miles along a bush track to Joatoa, where be was transferred to a car. He was brought into town and committed to the mental hospital, at Waikato.
