SUBSTANTIAL FINE IN AUCKLAND. (Pee United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, May 6. For being found in a state of intoxication while in charge of a motor car Ernest Henry Burbidge was fined £lO in the Police Court to-day. It was stated that the accused had no intention of driving the car. CASE AT DANNEVIRKE. (Per United Press Association.) DANNEVIRKE. May 6. George Eaton, who is said to be a visitor from Auckland, was arrested yesterday for being in charge of a motor car while drunk. He was fined £5 in the court this morning. The accused was seen by a constable driving an erratic course in the main streets and was arrested. FINE OF £lO INFLICTED. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, May 6. At the Magistrate's Court to-day, John Thomas Watson was fined £lO and his license was suspended for one month for being drunk while in charge of a motor car.
