Lord Stradbroke, who has just completed his term as Governor of Victoria, sails by the Aorangi to-day. He will spend some time in the United States before returning to England. GUILTY OF MANSLAUGHTER. . SYDNEY, April 9. Bruce Havelock Strong, who shot his father following a family quarrel, and who was charged with murder, was found guilt yof manslaughter and remanded for sentence. (Received April 9, at 10.30 p.m.) Strong was sentenced to four years’ imprisonment with hard labour. Following a family quarrel, in which Alexander Strong, aged 57, was alleged to have threatened the members of his family at Smith’s Creek near Murwillumbah, his son, Bruce Strong, aged 26, was alleged to have fired two shots with a rifle at the father, killing him. Bruce Strong was arrested and charged with murder. In a statement to the police he said he fired in self-defence. P.EW SOUTH WALES FARM STATISTICS. SYDNEY, April 9. The official agricultural- and live-stock statistics of New South Wales for the year ended June 30 last show that 4,914,485 acres were under crop. In practically every instance the production exceeded the average yield of the past five years. Sheep and lambs numbered 42,925.117, cattle 2,876,254, and horses 647,503. Sheen increased by 5,386,000. Horses and cattle both show a decrease. DEATH OF CYCLONE VICTIM. SYDNEY, April 8. Mrs Myers, one of the victims cf the Trangie cyclone, has succumbed to her injuries.
