The Government will cook to develop agriculture by similar methods to the Continental system of oocorving-dw'nofship of small holdings. There' will be a comprehensive land drainage reclamation scheme, opening up largo areas for cultivation. The proposals will be on a scale calculated to affect the (whole of British agriculture.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
