HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE.

Some very fine acts are provided by the J. C. "Williamson Vaudeville Company, now appearing at His Majesty 6 Theatre. The whole show is one of the best seen here for many years. Two performances were given yesterday. The bargain matinee in the afternoon attracted a fair audience, there was a gt>od attendance at the evening performance. Several new items were introduced. These were highly appreciated. The principal entertainer is Hcrshel Hcnlere, ■whoso delightful music on the piano is irresistable, while his comedy work and mirth is infections. Henlore plays classical music and ragtime, and is a most entertaining artist. A character comedian of some note is Mr Scott Sanders. He shows more than average ability, his Patter being new and entertaining. A turn entitled A Woodland Glade” is presented by Fantasi. In this the artiste demonstrates her wonderful facility as a contortionist. Lee Mason and his partner “Sunny" are most entertaining in a musical act, which is unique and clever Hvdia. and Desmond are very graceful dancers, while the Three Swifts give a finished exhibition of club-swinging, and the vwo Bonos are responsible for a splendid display of trepaze work. A feature of the entertainment is the music supplied by an efficient orchestra under the leadership of Mr Charles Aves. The performance will bo repeated this evening.
