RIFLE SHOOTING.
The Dunedin Defence Rifle Chib fired the first competition for Mr Bannerman’s prizes on Saturday afternoon. The. conditions were;—Two shoots of seven shots each at 200yds (6-inch bull); slings and aperture sights were allowed in the first shoot but barred in the second, whe.n only open sights were allowed.
