Tho Lille correspondent of the Morning Post states that an astonishing experiment was carried out by Dr Le Fori, a member of the Academic Medecin, assisted by Dr Picquet. They extracted a tliymid gland from a murderer named Olivier a few minutes after his execution, and grafted it into a half-witted girl. It is now announced that the result has been most successful. The gland has been assimilated perfectly, and the girls mental and physical weakness have been displaced by normal intelligence and a bright, joyous temperament. —A. and N.Z. Cable.
