AUSTRALIAN FORCES

INSPECTOR-GENERAL’S REPORT. Pzga. Association—By Telegraph—Copyright MELBOURNE, July 14. (Received July 14, at 10 p.m.) The report of the Inspector-General of military forces, which has been tabled in the House of Representatives, states that more money is needed and that the training period for the citizen forces should at least be equal to that of the pre-war period. He adds that if the serious position in regard to material were to be rectified within a reasonable time, the purchase of war material from abroad could not be averted.
