OTAGO LADIES’ ASSOCIATION. The weekly meeting of the Otago Ladies' Hockey Association was held on Monday even, ing. Mrs Nelson occupied the chair. The Secretary of the Maniototo Ladies’ Hockey Sub-association forwarded affiliation fees for five clubs. It wa« decided to appoint the following us selectors for the A Grade;—Aides F. Whyte, and Messrs Wallace and Fogo. In connection with the seven-e.-side tournament, Air P. Leith Ritchie, of Roslyn, gave a silver cup. He was accorded a hearty vote of thanks for bis handsome gift. RIFLE SHOOTING. FIVE-MEN CHAMPIONSHIP. The first round of the five-men championship aeries under the auspices of the Otago Miniature Rifle Association was fired on the Central Range on Tuesday evening, tho order of scoring and the scores of the first three teams was os follow: —City No. 1 team, ‘236, North F;nd No. 1 team, 231 ; Speight’s No. 1 team, 227.
