The .Matin’s Sofia correspondent says that the police held up the traffic lor eight hours on* Tuesday, and completely searched the city for Communists still hiding in the capital. They arrested a large number of persons, including the chief of the hand which attacked Ring Boris in April.—A. and N.Z. Cable. ATTEMPTING TO ESCAPE. EX-MINISTER SHOT DEAD. SOFIA. June 2. MM. Wancff and Bqreff, ex-members of the Stambulisky Cabinet, were shot dead while attempting to escape from prison, where they had been confined tor the last two years. —A. and N.Z. Cable.
