(Received Juno 4, at 9 p.m.) A meeting of the management committee of the Seamen's Union decided not to oppose the .shipowners’ application for the deregistration of the Seamen’s Union, as it was not advisable to incur further legal expenses. It was also decided that if the owners attempted to reduce wages or alter tho conditions of work the union would fight them industrially.
