VAN DERAILED.

.MISHAP ON RAILWAY. (Pee United Pbess Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, May 11. A slow mixed train from Haw era was near Norfolk road this morning, when a van, containing frozen meat, left the rails unnoticed until the train had travelled a considerable distance, and crossed a bridge. Finally the van overturned, and others were also derailed. The van was smashed and the meat scattered about; but the passenger coaches in front kept the rails, the occupants only feeling a severe bump. The traffic was disorganised.
