The Holmdale, which arrived here on Saturday morning from Wellington, is to sail this evening for Oamani, Timam, Lyttelton, Wellington," and Wanganui. The Katoa is to leave Napier to-day for Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. She is due hero on Thursciav and is listed to sail on ‘Friday for East Coast porta and Auckland.

The Kamo ia due at Dunedin this morning from Lyttelton, and is expected to sail this evening for Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Napier, and Gisborne. The Storm, which arrived here early yesterday morning from Wanganui, via ports, is timed to sail this evening for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Wanganui. The Opihi is expected to load at Westport to-day for Oamaru and'Dunedin, in place of the Waipori. The latter vessel has been directed to another port. ' The Wanaka ia expected to leave Auckland on Wednesday with general cargo for discharge at Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff. The Greek steamer Elcctra Stavroudi will dock at Port Chalmers this morning for cleaning and painting. She is to sail this evening for Westport to replenish her bunkers. Tho Kawatiri is to sail ' f rom Lyttelton to-day for Picton to load for Auckland. The Kaituna, from Wellington, arrived at Melbourne on Wednesday, and was to sail on Saturday for Edithburgh, thence Adelaide and back to Melbourne to load for Auckland, Mew Plymouth, and Wellington. The Shaw, Savill, and Albion Line steamer Kia Ora, now en route from London to Australia, is due on the New Zealand coast about June 12 to commence loading for England. The Shaw, Savill, and Albion liner Arawa, now cn route to England, is scheduled to leave Southampton on June 18 with passengers for New Zealand and cargo for discharge at Auckland and Lyttelton. She is due at Auckland on July 26. Cargo discharged at Auckland from the Moeraki last week included transhipments ex the steamers Arafura, Naringa, Riverina, Bunvah, Mildura, Burma Maru, Ulimaroa, Orama, Ilanan, Sucvic, Bombala, Mareeba, Goulburn, Moldavia. Mr O. C. Waters has joined the Kaiwarra as chief officer, vice Mr G. W. Evans, who signed on tho Wanaka as extra chief officer for the run to Auckland. Ho is to join the Waitemata at tho northern port as chief officer in place of Mr J. Ritchie, who goes on holiday. . . The Union Company advises that the Wairuna left San Francisco on May 3 -with cargo to discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne, and Sydney. The vessel is duo at Auckland about May 2G.

The Federal Lino steamer Argyllshire' arrived at Port Chalmers early yesterday morning fiom Napier and Bluff, and was berthed at the George street wharf to load a large quantity of refrigerated cargo for London. Lino’s chartered steamer Puriri is now expected to arrive at Dunedin to-morrow from New York, via northern ports, to continue discharging general American cargo. She will sail about Thursday for Hobart, Launceston, and Adelaida to complete discharge. THE WEST NILUS. The Swayne and Hoyto Line steamer West Nilus is due at Auckland early this week fiom San Francisco. She is bringing cargo from Pacific Coast uorts for discharge at Auckland, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Australia. Messrs Turnbull, Martin, and Co. arc the local agents. TONGARIRO FROM LONDON. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s steamer Tongariro arrived at Auckland on Saturday afternoon from London, via Panama. The vessel will discharge a quantity of explosives before being berthed at the northern port to land general cargo. The Tongariro will ii-ter proceed to Port Chalmers, Bluff, and New Plymouth to complete discharge She is due hero about May 18 and will afterwards load at various dominion ports, and will sail finally from Auckland 1 about Juno 18 for London, via Panama. THIS AVEEK’S SYDNEY STEAMER. The Mnunganui left Sydney on Friday for Wellington, and is due hero to-morrow. The vessel leaves again for Sydney on Thursday, being a day earlier than usual on account of taking the through passengers ex the R.M.S. Tahiti, from San Francisco. The latter vessel will not proceed to Sydney, but will remain at AVellington for engine room adjustments, picking up her running again on May 26, when she will leave for San Francisco CARGO FROM CANADA. The New Zealand Shipping Company advises ’ that the Doonholm arrived at Montreal on May 5 from Sydney (Capo Breton) to load for Auckland. AVellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin. Melbourne* and Sydney. The vessel is to cal) at Newport News to complete _ her cargo. She is to be followed by the Ticnicia, which is duo at Sydney (Capo Breton) on June 10 to commence loading, and will com plete at Montreal. WILLASTON FROM CANADA. An arrival at. Dunedip yesterday was the cargo steamer AVillaston, which came from Louisburg, St. John, New A’ork, and Newport Nows via Panama Auckland, Wellington, and‘■Lyttelton. The vessel, which is making her first visit to Now Zealand, was berthed at the Victoria wharf, whore the remainder of her general Canadian and American cargo will be discharged. The AVillaston left St. John on February 17, and New York on March 7. She had an uneventful voyago to Auckland, whore she, arrived on April 14. On completion of discharge the AVillaston will' go to A\ r eatport to replenish her bunkers. • She will then proceed to Ahrncouvcv and San Francisco to load for Napier, New Plymouth, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and possibly Timaru and Bluff, under charter to the Union Steam Ship Company. The AVillaston, which is owned by Messrs W. F. Edgar and Company, was built by Messrs AA r . Dobson and Company at Ncw-cast!e-on-Tyne, and was launched on September, 1.911. She has- a gross tonnage rf 5657, and is 4121 ft in length, 52ft in breadth, and 27ft in depth, being fitted with trudo expansion engines. She, is at present under charter to the New Zealand Shipping Company. Captain Jones is in command, and has with him the following officers Chief, Mr AA r . Fellows; second, Mr D. E. PIAKO’S VOYAGE PROM ENGLAND. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s cargo steamer Piako arrived at Wellington on Wednesday afternoon in ballast, from Liverpool, via Panama. The vessel, which loads under the auspices of the Federal Line, left London on March 18 for Liverpool, where she was docked for cleaning and painting, and after bunkering, sailed on March. 28 for Wellington. A very line uneventful voyage was experienced until Monday last, when the vessel ran into a southerly gale and high seas, which lasted until nearing port. Captain D. Urquhr.rt is in command of tho Piako and his officers are; —Chief, Mr J. V. Williams; second, Mr M. D. Stewart; third, Mr A. Hocken; fourth, Mr J. Lloyd, chief engineer, Mr K. Jones; second, Mr D. The Federal Company report that after the Piako has taken in part cargo at Wellington she will proceed for further loading to Lyttelton, New Plymouth, Wanganui, back to Wellington, Napier, Gisborne, and Auckland. She will sail finally from Auckland for New York, Boston, Glasgow, Liverpool, Manchester, and Avonmouth.
