SYSTEM TO BE INVESTIGATED. (Ftecm Otjb Own Cote respondent, ) WELLINGTON, January 9. Mr Frank Tate, Director of Education in Victoria, is leaving Melbourne in tho steamer Moerakx on January 28, and will arrive in New Zealand on February 2. Mr Tate will remain in Now Zealand for about seven or eight weeks, and at tho request of Sir James Parr (Minister of Education) will investigate and report on the subject of post-primary education in the dominion. On his arrival here Mr Tate will bo met by the Minister of Education and the Director of Education. During his stay here he will make an examination of the working of post-primary institutions, such as high schools, technical schools, and district high schools. Mrs Tate wiH accompany her husband.
