(Received Nov. 19, at 10.15 p.m.) A fire at Messrs Elliott Bros.’, wholesale chemical works at Rozelle heavy damage. Tho fire spread over amnrea of several acres, but the firemen m great efforts prevented the outbreak from involving tho whole of the works. The blaze was confined to the packing plant. Tho fumes from tho heavy stocks of chemicals and a poor water supply made the task of the fire-fighters a heavy one. Several firemen had to bo treated for tho effects of the fumes.
