(Pra United Fbesb Association.) WELLINGTON, October 30. Henry Harris Tunnicliffe, who had previously been found guilty on three charges of theft, pleaded guilty to failing to account for" £4 10s od due to the Stewart Timber Company. Ho was remanded till to-morrow for sentence. AUCKLAND, October 30. At the Supremo Court, Emily Bower was found not guilty of the theft of a bicycle at Whangarei. An alternative chy-rKO of receiving was also dismissed. Accused had purchased the bicycle from the informant, and the case hinged on whether the machine in question was that or one that was stolen.
