WELLINGTON, September 13. “I feel that it is really a waste of time to take notice of anonymous typewritten circulars,” was the reply by the Hon. J. G. Contes, when asked if he had any comment to make on a suggestion contained in communications to members of Parliament, headed “Now Zealand League,” that there should be a Coalition Government under his leadership. “However, as the suggestion has been so often repeated.’’ added Mr Coates, “though always anonymously, and as I am told that it has attracted a certain amount of attention, my reply is this: To bring in my name is an insult to my integrity, and it should at least he accepted that I am loyal to my leader (Mr Massey).”
