Another abortive attempt at a revolution was made by parties of Communists, including soldiers, who attacked the Ministry of War, the telegraph station, and the Customs House. 'The revolt failed and the revolutionaries were arrested. The Government has the situation thoroughly in hand. The rebels who occupied the Customs House fled. Those arrested include officers,, sergeants, and sailors.—Reuter.

ARREST OF LEADERS ORDERED. LISBON, eptemher 13. (Received Sept. 14, at 5.5 p.m. ) The Government has ordered the arrest of the members of the Directory of the Radical Party. Complete calm prevails.— Reuter.
