BOOM IN GERMAN BONDS. POPULARITY Oi< WAR LOAN. NEW YORK. August 21. Another Loom in German pre-war bonds has started on Wall in these securities declare that they are merely repurchasing bonds sold several vears“ago. They, together with certain fortunate speculators, are getting rich by the process. Some of the issues have risen by as much as 500 dollars a millionmark bond. The favourite issue was the 5 per cent. German war loan., which advanced 300 dollars for each million, marks to a new high record of 1700 dollars.
