(Received Sept. 7, at 5.5 p.m.) Locatelli has announced that he has renounced his proposed flight to the North Pole with Roald Amundsen, who had learned from the disastrous aeroplane trip ending in Arctic waters that there was a better chance of reaching the Pole in a dirigible than in an airplane.—Reuter.'
