STEAMER DISABLED
WIRELESS CALL lOR HELP. CALCUTTA, August 5. While on the way from Java to Calcutta, the Ceylon Maru, a Japanese cargo steamer, became disabled in (he Bay of Bengal, owing to engine trouble. Other vessels within wireless call rushed up and ■ rendered assistance, with’ the result that the Ceylon Maru is now making port under her own steam though the weather is heavy.
