MAGISTRATE’S COURT.
Tuesday, August 19. (Before Mr J. R. Bartholomew, S.M.) Judgment was given for tho plaintiffs by default in the following cases;—William Quirk v. A. W. Stanley (Wellington), claim £l4 13s lOd, for beard and lodging, with costs (£2 15s); Now Zealand Hardware Company v. W. Shaw, claim £5 13s, for goods supplied, with costs (£1 8s 6d); L. J. Potter v. Thomas Tree (Tahakopa), claim £1 2s, balance due for professional services, with costs (£1 ss); Herbert H. Croft v. H. B Scott, claim £4 14s sd, on account staled, with costs (£l 3s 6d). Claim for Possession.—William Edward Toaae proceeded against Mary Dooherty on a claim for possession of a house situated at 56 Albany street.—An order was_ made in favour of the plaintiff for possession on or before September 16, with costs (£1 6s). —Mr Baylee appeared for tho plaintiff.
