The Archbishop of Bologna suspended Mass in the Cathedral owing to the attendance of society women in low-necked dresses and with bare arms, The priests previously posted elderly women at tho doors to persuade the worshippers to dress modestly. The scheme resulted in unseemly conflicts between elderly and modern women.—Sydney Sun Cable.
