MINING ON UPPER SHOTOVER. A strong company has been formed in Melbourne for the purpose of mining the gold from Messrs Paterson and Searlc’s claims, comprising a considerable portion. On the Upper Shotover River. A contract has been let for the construction of the plant that will be utilised, and is to be completed within six months.
