The van quo functions arranged for cele» beating the fiftieth anniversary of the open, big of the Albany Slajeeb School commence to-day. At 10 a.m. the present pupils will be entertained in Knox Church Sunday School Hall, when ex-pupils and teacher* will bo cordially welcomed. At 2.30 p.in.a reception of ex-teach ora and pupils will take place at the school. Afternoon tea will be dispensed, and an opportunity will be presented to renew acquaintanceship and to talk over old times.
