At a- special meeting of the Timani School Committees’ Association to-night it was decided unanimously to endorse the action of the Federation of the South Island School Committees’ Associations in taking an active part in Deposition to the Oamaru proposal to attach the junior High School to the Wailaki High f'Tbo-' The proposed expenditure of £14,000 which the experiment involved was characterised as a gross waste of public money in view of the starvation treatment meted out to some of the existing primary schools through insufficient accommodation and inadequate incidental allowances, etc.
