Mr Bruce stated that the cost of the cruiser which it was proposed to have built in England would bo approximately £2,200,000. BILL PASSED THROUGH ALL STAGESMELBOURNE, July 31. (Received July 31, at 9.40 p.m.) In the House, of Representatives the Defence Equipment Bill, allocating £2,500,000 for the now cruiser, was passed through all its stages.
