In the Davis Cup lawn tenuis draw Australia is to face China at the Crescent Athletic Club’s ground on July 31 and August 1 and 2. The winner is to meet Mexico at the Baltimore Country Club’s ground on August 7,8, and 9. The final round of the American zone play -will be decided between the survivor of. the Baltimore match, and the team which comes successfully out of the two matches at Ottawa. and Montreal, in which Japan drew a bye, will face the victor of the ..Struggle between Cuba and Canada. The Longwood Cricket Club’s ground will be the sene of the inter-zone competition, orl September 4-, 5, and 6, and at the Germantown Cricket Club’s ground at Philadelphia on September 11, 12, and 13 the United States will defend the Davis Cup against the challenger which survives the Longwood duel.—Reuter.
