In tho House of Commons tho Prime Minister (Mr Mackenzie King) dedarco that the dominion Government never ques fcioned the fact, when tire Lausanne Treaty was ratified, that it was binding on Canada; but the reason why the Government did no', bring down tho treaty foi approval in the House was because the Government did not believe that Parliament would approve it. Tho Government was required to take the responsibility for submitting to Parliament what it thought should be submitted and for withholding what it thought should be withheld.— Reuter.
