MR MERRITT S ACTIVITIES. Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, May 25. Mr J. B. Merrett (New Zealand representative! has returned from the World Poultry Congress at Barcelona. He found that the British people could learn little from the Continent peoples regarding breeds for egg-laying. The Australian and New Zealand birds, he said, were equal to any in the show. Mr Merrett said that the export of eggs to Britain should he developed considerably, but it was doubtful whether it would be possible to increase the exports of frozen birds.—Sydney Sun Cable.
