HARRIERS.

ANGLICAN CLUB. The Anglican Harrier Club held its opening run from the Anderson's Bay School. The pack, numbering 40, tinder Deputycaptain G. Mount, set off at 3 p.m., following a good trail laid by Biffl and Finlaysou, which led along the high road as far as the cairn, then down the hills and around on to the Tomahawk road, this road being traversed as far ns the lagoon. The pack, after circling the lagoon, set off at a good steady pace for home, livening up considerably towards the finish. Those prominent at this juncture were Malone and M'Kernan, the remainder being in very close attendance. The club was afterwards entertained at the Taihoa Tea Rooms ns the guests of the committee. ST. PATRICK’S CLUB. The S(. Patrick’s Harrier Club held its opening run on Saturday from the Farmers’ Arms Hotel, as the guests of Mr and Mrs Richards. Tile attendance was very satisfactory. 15 members taking part in the run. Hie pack, under the whistles of Captain MTlroy and Deputy-captain White, led across the Oval, along Anderson’s Bay road to Tahuna, and thence to St, Kilda. There the pack branched off along Lovers’ lane to St. Clair, and then continued across country to Look-out Point, returning via Main South road and Wilkie road to the Oval, where a brisk run home ensued, in which L. Davies was prominent. Afterwards an enjoyable social evening was held, at the conclusion of which Mr MTlroy, on behalf of the harriers, thanked Mr and Mrs Richards for their hospitality.
