SERIOUS NERVOUS CASES.

WELLINGTON, April 1. - ‘A thing that, has struck me during my visit to New Zealand had been the number of nervous cases J have seen among the young people—some of the worst cases I have over seen,” remarked Dr J. T. Miller, of Los Angeles, in the course of an address at. the Rotary Club to-day. “[ think that it is partly due to the examinations leading up to matriculation. You are emphasising the examinations too much. I have seen some very serious nervous cases, and on inquiring into them I have found that in almost every instance, they are duo to some such strain. Tiro danger throughout the world to-dav is to crowd the gifted child and neglect (he slow child.”
