ASTRONOMICAL NOTES FOR APRIL.
I THE SUN. The sun's path during the month of Apr 9 ia in It.A. from 0.42.15 to 2,29,17, in north declination from 4.32.42 to 14.46.20, and m longitude from 11.29.13 to 39.51.7. THE MOON. The phases of the moon will be as follow: Now moon 4th 6.47 p.m. First quarter 12th 10.42 p.m. Full moon 20th 1.41 a.m. Hast quarter 26th 3.58 p.m. Apogee 9lh 2.42 a.m. Perigee 21et 7.18 a.m, THE TEA NETS. Mercury will be in E.A. from 1.20.41 to 3.11.40 and in north declination from 8.50.55 to 19.62.5. It will be in perihelion on the 3rd, in conjunction with the moon on the 4th, at its greatest hel. lat, north on th® 14th, and will be stationary on the 27th. Venus will be in E.A. from 3.31.59 to 5.88.13, and in north declination from 21.31.16 to 27.1.16. It will be in conjunction with the moon on the 7th, at its greatest bel. lat. north on the 21st, and at its greatest elongation also on the 21st. Mars will be in E.A. from 19.9.58 to 20.24.16, and in south declination from 23.6.1 a to 20.50.19. It will be in quadrature to the sun on the 13th, and in conjunction with the moon on the 25th. Jupiter will be in E.A. from 17.16.9 to 17.12.22, and in south declination from 22.21.3 to 22,16.37. It will be stationary on the sth, and in conjunction with the moon on tba 22nd. Saturn will be in E.A. from 13.56.52 to 13.48.40, and in south declination from 9.1.33 to 8.15.30. It will be in conjunction with the moon on the 19f.h and in opposition to tho inn on the 18th.,
