PROPERTY SALES. Messrs Park, Reynolds (Ltd.) offered f° r sale by auction at their rooms yesterday, No. 32 Highgato, Roslyn, freehold, containing 30.9 poles, together with house of eight rooms and conveniences, in the estate ot the late Emily Coull. Bidding started at £BOO and rose to £IO3O, at which price the house was knocked down. Messrs Alex. Harris and Co. conducted yesterday an auction sale of projierty at Warrington on account of Mr H. V. Hankey. Sections 1,2, and 4 were sold to the Patients’ and Prisoners’ Aid Society, section 6 to Mr Barrowman, section 7 to Mr Marr, sections 8,9, 10, 11 to Mr Stone, sections 3,5, and 12 to Mr C. Samson. All the sections brought satisfactory prices. THE TALLOW MARKET. Messrs Dalgety and 00. report having received the following cablegram from their head office, dated London, February 30; The tallow market nominally is unchanged. FARMERS’ UNION TRADING COMPANY. The arrangement between the Farmers’ Union Trading Company and its depositors and bondholders, as embodied in the resolution passed by a vote of 89 per cent, m favour of a special meeting held last month, has been approved by the Supreme Court. Under this arrangement the bondholders agree to accept a reduction of 1 per cent, in the rate of interest, to give an extension of five years to the currency of the bonds, and to relieve the company of the payment of income tax. The fixed depositors agree to the repayment or deposits by instalments spread over five years. In return the company gives security in the form of a floating charge over certain of the company’s assets, this security being supported by a trust deed, in which the Guardian 'Trust and Executors Company of New Zealand (Ltd.) will bo appointed trustees for the bondholders and depositors.
