WELLINGTON, February 21.—Arrived: Maori (7 a.m.), from Lyttelton; Port Sydney (3.10 a.m.), from Bluff; Remuera (9.45 a.m.), from Southampton. Sailed: Canadian Cruiser (12.35 p.m.), for Auckland; Las Vegas (2.45 p.m.), for Lyttelton; Holmdale (6.5 p.m.), for Dunedin; Maori (7.50 p.m.), for Lyttelton. LYTTELTON, February 21.—Arrived: Wahine (6.35 aun.), from Wellington; Kumara (7.50 am.), from Oaxnaru; Kaitangata (9.35 a.m.) and Paparoa (9.50 a-m.), from Wellington; Breeze (5.40 p.m.), from Picton. Sailed: Kaitangata (4.30 pm.), for Dunedin; Wahine, for Wellington. SIDNEY, February 21.—Arrived: Whangape, from Bluff. PANAMA, February 20—Arrived: Canadian Challenger, from Auckland. The Gale, from Lyttelton, is due her© on Tuesday, and is to sail the same day for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Picton, and Wanganui. The Calm.v from Bluff, is due here about midday to-day, and is to sail to-day for Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Wanganui. The Holmdale, from Wellington, is due here to-morrow, and is to sail to-morrow for Oamam, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Wanganui. The Waitomo is due at Port Chalmers today to complete discharge of her phosphates from Nauru. She will then dock for survey. Captain E. Harris will take command of the Waitomo, relieving Captain Ruxton, who will come ashore for orders. The Kaitangata, from Auckland, via Wellington and Lyttelton, is due here to-day, and is to sail to-morrow for Oamaru, Timoru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland. lie Kamo, from Napier, is duo here on Monday, and will dock at Port Chalmers for cleaning and painting. She is to sail on Tuesday for Napier and Gisborne, via ports. The Kini is to sail to-day for Timaru, Greymouth, and Westport. The Kaikorai, from Newcastle, is due at Lyttelton on Sunday. She will continue discharge at Oamaru. WAIKAWA FROM NEWCASTLE. Cabled news has been received by the Union Company that the Waikawa sailed from Newcastle on Sunday night with a load of coal for Wellington. She is due at Wellington. to-morrow. RADIO FROM OTAKI. A radio message received by the Federal Line from the Otaki, en route from Liverpool, announces that the vessel will arrive at Auckland to-morrow. The Otaki should reach Wellington a week later. She will continue unloading at Lyttelton and Dunedin.
THE SVARTEN, Messrs G. H. Scales and Co. report that their chartered steamer Svarten left Timam on Saturday night for Auckland to load the remainder of her cargo for Continental and European porta. She is to sail finally from Auckland to-morrow. TOPUA LEAVES APIA. The Union Company has been notified that the Tofua left Apia on Monday for Suva, from which port she will sail to-morrow for Auckland. She is due at Auckland on Wednesday. TEE BRADFORD CITY. The steamer Bradford City, en rente from Port Arthur (Texas) and New York, left Panama on February 15 for Wellington, where she is now expected about March 15. THE PAPAEOA. The Paparoa, from Liverpool, via Auckland, Wellington, and Lyttelton, is due to-morrow to continue discharge. Messrs Turnbull, Martin, and Co., are the local agents. MATAKANA DUE TO-MORROW. The National Mortgage and Agency Company advises that the Matakana, from Liverpool, via Auckland, Wellington, and Lyttelton, is due at Dunedin to-morrow morning, and will berth at the Victoria wharf to discharge over 1000 tons of general cargo from Glasgow and Liverpool. LAS VEGAS DUB TUESDAY. Messrs Turnbull, Martin, and Co. advise that the Las Vegas, from San Francisco, via northern ports and Lyttelton, is due here on Tuesday to continue discharging case oil, general cargo, and timber. She will complete discharge at Melbourne. THE MOERAKI. The Union Steam Ship Company has received advice that the intercolonial passenger steamer Moeraki was delayed at Melbourne on Wednesday owing to heavy rain. She was expected to leave Melbourne yesterday morning for Bluff and Dunedin. She is now due here on Wednesday, and is to sail the same day for Lyttelton, Wellington, and Melbourne. THE CANADIAN CONSTRUCTOR. Messrs H. L. Tapley and Co. advise that tie Canadian Government Line steamer Canadian Constructor, from Australian ports, is due at Wellington on March 5 to commence loading for American and Canadian ports and the United Kingdom. She will continue loading at Lyttelton, Dunedin, jit, -ispier, and Auckland. She is due here about March 12. THE CITY OF WINCHESTER, The Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company advises that the City of Winchester left Wellington on Wednesday for Lyttelton, Gisborne, Napier, and Wanganui to continue loading for the United Kingdom. From the last-named port she will return to Wellington, and is to sail finally on March 8 for London, via Montevideo and TeneriSe. PORT CHALMERS AT COLON. The Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Chalmers, en. route from New York to Auckland, arrived at Colon on February 14. The vessel is bringing cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Melbourne, and Sydney. She is due at Auckland about March 8. RONA FROM QUEENSLAND. The Colonial Sugar Company’s steamer Rona, Captain. A. Wallis, arrived at Auckland from Cairns at midday on Saturday to discharge about 6000 tons of raw sugar from Queensland. She also has a quantity of molasses for discharge at Sydney. The Rona made the voyage from Cairns in eight days 20 hours, experiencing a fine weather and uneventful trip. It is expected that she will leave Auckland for Sydney about to-day. THE CITY OF DUNEDIN. The Federal Company advises that the City of Dunedin, from New York, via Auckland, is duo at Wellington to-morrow morning. She will continue discharge at Lyttelton, TfuafUg Dunedin, **4 Sydney.
THE CORNWALL. The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the Cornwall, from Bluff, via Port Chalmers, Timaru, and Lyttelton, was due at-Wellington yesterday. From Wellington she will proceed to Wanganui, and will return to Wellington, and is to sail from that port on February 28 for London, via Montevideo and Los Palmas. PASSENGERS VIA AUSTRALIA. The following passengers for New Zcaalnd left Tilbury on January 6 by the Orient liner Ormuz, which sailed for Australia:—The Most Rev. Dr Whyte, Mr and Mrs H. 6. Miller, Mr and Mrs J. C. Williamson and Miss Williamson, Mr and Mrs A. B. Ackland, Mrs Alexander, Mrs Begg, Mrs Carr, Mrs Johns and child. Mrs Pemberton, Mrs Arthur Young, Miss M. G. Jackson, Miss I. Morrison, Miss P. Pemberton, Miss K. Ryan, Mias C. F. Steinmayer, Miss G. Walsh, Mr L. W. Balkind, Mr J. C. Hanna, Mr F. N. Parsons. The vessel was duo at Sydney on Saturday. WITHIN WIRELESS RANGE.
