LICENSED DRAINERS’ UNION.

The annual meeting of the Dunedin Licensed Drainers’ Union was held at tho Trades Hall, Dunedin, on Friday, and was well attended. The Chairman (Mr Cooking) moved a vote of condolence with the secretary (Mr M'Neill) in his recent bereavement in the death of his son, Mr A. M. M'Neill. The motion was carried, the members present standing in silence. The report and balance were unanimously adopted. The members of tho executive, as well as the committee, wore re-elected; Eight new certificated members joined tho union. It was resolved that the union in future hold its meetings on Wednesdays instead of Fridays.
