LOYAL MIDDLEMARCH LODGE.
The district executive, accompanied by 40 members of the Loyal Middlemarch Lodge, paid an official visit to the Lower Middlemarch Lodge on Saturday, and there was a good attendance of members.
The balance sheet of tho lodge was discussed at length, and it showed the financial position to have greatly improved in the last 12 months. After an hour spent cn lodge business the members adjourned to the Agricultural Hall, where the visitors were entertained. The Noble Grand, Bro. Messent, occupied the chair, and he was supported by the Provincial G.M., Bro. J. A. Robson, the Provincial C.S., Bro. J. A. Hopcraft, and the Provincial Treasurer, Bro. A. Sligo. Tho customary toasts were proposed and responded to, and with song, music, and story an enjoyable evening terminated at midnight. Tho visitors went to Middlemarch by motor car via Outram, and returned yesterday through Macraes Flat.
