(Received January 10, at 8 p.m.) The Imperial War Graves Commission estimates its expenditure during the comine year at £1,500,000, of which Australia will contribute £95,000. The figures show a slight increase on those for the previous vear, owing to speeding on the constructional work. It is announced that the construction of the cemeteries in France and Belgium will be completed in 1928, those on Gallipoli in 1924, and those in Palestine and Mesopotamia in 192/. The original estimate of £lO for each crave including a headstone, has been reduced by 40 per cent, mainly due to the fall in the franc.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
