Merritt, representing the New Zealand Egg Producers’ Federation, has ben invited to the Poultry Federation’s Conference, at The Hague. He will leave on Wednesday to investigate trade with Holland. He is also interested in a scheme for combining New Zealand, Australia, and South Africa in the exportation of eggs to Britain. Ten million pounds worth is now obtained from foreign countries. Mr Merritt is convinced that the Empire will be able to supply a large proportion of Britain’s requirements.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
