The Sunday Observer’s political correspondent, while describing Labour’s representations regarding the disposal of Anglo-Persian oil shares as justifiable, declares the Singapore scheme to be quite different. This was undertaken after full discussion by Parliament and the Imperial Conference. Therefore, it cannot be dropped except after consultation with or at least proper intimation to the Australian and New Zealand Governments.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
