At the annual meeting of the Beaumont Racing Club, held, on Saturday night, the balance sheet submitted showed-that a profit of £6l was mad© at the last race meeting. This was considered very satisfactory considering the adverse weather conditions experienced. It was resolved to maintain the stakes at £9OO, and also to improve the appointments on the course by providing a number of horse stalls. ROLF. NEW ZEALAND ASSOCIATION. At the monthly meeting of the Council of the New Zealand Golf Association a lengthy letter was received from the Auckland Golf Club setting out exactly what it purposes doing in order to complete the bunkering scheme before the championship meeting. The letter was considered quite satisfactory by the council. It was resolved to hold the next professionals’ tournament at Nelson on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, 24th. 2Sth, and 26th of April, being the end of the week following Easter Monday. The Nelson Golf Club offers to find £SO for prize money for the three days’ tournament. and the association will provide not lees than £IOO in addition.
