Among the licenses granted is one to the Piccadilly Hotel. It is said that all West End hotels will shortly give cabaret entertainments. The proposal 6f a committee of the London County Council that liquor should be allowed to be sold in the bars, but not in the auditoriums, of a number of music halls, including the Coliseum, has been rejected, the council deciding by 44 votes to 32 that no liquor at all should be sold or consumed on the premises.
